• Extensive experience in conducting competency to stand trial and criminal responsibility at the time of the crime assessments, have worked as a contractor for the New Jersey Department of Health performing these assessments since 2022

• Experience testifying in both competency and sanity cases

• Assessment consists of: review of case records, medical records, interviews with defendant, interviews with people to provide collateral information when needed, collaborative work with attorney

Experience conducting evaluations for disability claims related to mental health, particularly:

• Serious mental illness (Schizophrenia Spectrum Disorders and Bipolar Disorder)

• Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (particularly qualified in this due to position as an outpatient psychiatrist at the Department of Veteran’s Affairs)

• Depression and Anxiety

• Age-Related Cognitive Changes

• Traumatic Brain Injury

Trained to conduct evaluations where sexual harassment has led to potential mental health consequences 

• Child abuse / neglect (when involving mental health of parent or guardian)

• Custody evaluations (can evaluate parents only, not children)

• Parental competence, termination of parental rights
